The Challenge

New Balance set out to create a retail space that would capture the essence of its Lifestyle Collection line, with a contemporary and urban focus. The request was clear: to transform visual references already defined by Idónea Comunicación into a top-quality installation. The client demanded precision, impeccable finishes and total coordination between teams. The technical complexity lay in adapting materials, measurements and structures to the reality of production. Rapid assembly, high attention to detail and perfect synchronisation between workshop, production and installation were required.

The Result

The project resulted in a solid, attractive retail installation that remained faithful to New Balance’s DNA. Iconic elements were manufactured, all with high-quality finishes. The entire installation process was carried out without incident, within the planned schedule, and without the need for subsequent revisions. The brand highlighted the quality of the finishes, the speed of response, and the fluidity of communication. The result was a visual activation consistent with the values of innovation, style and precision that characterise New Balance.

Lifestyle Collection Pop-up

New Balance, a global leader in footwear and sports fashion, sought to strengthen its presence in the retail market through a space that reflected authenticity, design and functionality. In an increasingly competitive sector, where shops are brand showcases and immersive experiences, physical execution becomes a direct extension of branding. This project was born in collaboration with Idónea Comunicación, a creative agency that defined the aesthetic lines, while we as a team took on the responsibility of transforming that vision into reality, ensuring that every detail, from the furniture to the signage, communicated the brand’s identity.

The development

From idea to space: the process behind the project

The process began with adapting the creative concept, optimising measurements and materials for proper manufacturing. Production of the donkeys, table and red cube began in the workshop, combining metal structures, laminated wood, methacrylate and vinyl.

By applying techniques such as roll printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, squaring and upholstery, high-quality finishes were achieved for a project that demanded precision. Coordination between the production and installation teams was constant, which allowed the project to be completed on schedule without incident.

Our workshops tackled the manufacture of all the structural elements. The display stands were one of the visual focal points of the space: the white ones, bearing the inscription Lifestyle Collection, required a polished, uniform finish, while the metal ones had to maintain a controlled industrial texture. Strong, lightweight structures were designed, using scaffolding gears with wheels to facilitate mobility and versatility in the space.

The large red cube, one of the iconic pieces in the collection, was constructed from laminated wood, painted with a satin finish in New Balance’s characteristic corporate colour.

The display table, designed to blend harmoniously with the rest of the furniture, combined red laminate surfaces and a brushed metal structure.

Each element was painted, polished and checked manually before final assembly.

The event brought together influencers, the press and urban design enthusiasts in a space that perfectly reflected the spirit of New Balance’s Lifestyle Collection. Every detail of the pop-up was designed to create an authentic connection between the brand and attendees. Industrial materials, iconic colours and an immersive atmosphere invited attendees to discover the new collection up close, share content in real time and enjoy a sensory experience.
