The process was carried out with respect for, and in dialogue with, the exhibition environment of “SOMOS,” a space filled with artworks that required extreme care in handling materials and planning movements.
PRADA
The Challenge
Wozere Studio entrusted us with bringing the launch of Prada Paradigme to life, a project that demanded high aesthetic and technical precision. The complexity layed in adapting to constant changes to achieve the desired result, managing delicate lighting elements, and ensuring everything fit within the event’s budget and tight timelines. Additionally, the installation space had logistics and transport restrictions that required meticulous planning and quick problem-solving.
The Result
The core of the project consisted of transforming a high-level aesthetic concept into a functional, realistic, and adaptable installation within the established deadlines and budget. The technical complexity was further amplified by the continuous revisions requested throughout the development process and by the logistical limitations of the “SOMOS” space, which demanded absolute precision in coordination and execution.
Introduction
PRADA is a global benchmark of contemporary luxury. Its universe combines elegance, innovation, and a minimalist aesthetic defined by the purity of its lines and materials. In this project, the brand sought to translate that sophistication into a physical experience capable of enveloping the visitor. Wozere Studio designed the space, and our team took on the technical development and full production.
The context was significant: the luxury retail sector is undergoing a major transformation, driven by sensory experiences and spaces that strengthen the connection between brand and audience. This project represented an opportunity to demonstrate how design, technique, and craftsmanship can merge in an ephemeral environment without losing coherence or identity.
The Development
Starting from the 3D models provided by Wozere Studio, we initiated the technical phase of the project by evaluating together with the workshops the structural and material feasibility of each element. The work required precision and adaptability: from the light tower, which demanded special coordination with the lighting team, to the curved laminated-wood and metal components that defined the character of the space.
“The Art of Luxury Retail: The Prada Experience”
The materials were carefully selected: from dark grey laminated wood, curved lacquered panels, metal, acrylic, and mirror-effect vinyl, all of which were manufactured using CNC and laser machinery to achieve perfect finishes consistent with the original design. The production included dimmable illuminated signage, an acrylic tower, a spotlight platform, and a DJ booth, as well as the final graphics and paintwork.
Art, design, and retail experience in a single space
Throughout the process, modifications arose that required reconfiguring and adapting already fabricated pieces. Thanks to flexible management, some elements were repositioned within the space, maintaining visual coherence and optimizing resources.
During the installation at “SOMOS,” the team demonstrated its responsiveness: there was only one hour available for loading and unloading, and no production work could be carried out inside the venue, as it was an artistic space. Everything was completed in record time, ensuring the setup was flawless on the first attempt, with no need for subsequent adjustments.
Key Factors for a Pop-Up Event in an Artistic Space
01
The process was carried out with respect for, and in dialogue with, the exhibition environment of “SOMOS,” a space filled with artworks that required extreme care in handling materials and planning movements.
02
Collaborative work alongside Wozere Studio, who once again trusted our team, together with each of the workshops, was essential for translating the conceptual design into flawless execution.
03
Flexibility in the face of changes allowed us to maintain quality and meet deadlines without compromising aesthetics. Meticulous planning enabled us to overcome the time and space constraints of the installation site.
04
High-quality materials and precise execution created an environment that exuded luxury and aligned seamlessly with PRADA’s identity. The use of CNC and laser technology ensured absolute fidelity to the design and high-level finishes.
05
The project’s technical sophistication allowed for an experience where PRADA’s presence coexisted naturally and harmoniously with the artistic language of the space. However, it was the open and fluid communication between creative and technical teams that ensured a balanced outcome between vision and reality.
Precision, Beauty, and Coherence in a Single Space
The Outcome
The PRADA space at “SOMOS” established itself as a brand experience that seamlessly fused art, design, and technical expertise with flawless execution. The installation reflected the elegance and modernity characteristic of the brand, creating an immersive atmosphere that captivated visitors.
The project strictly met the planned deadlines and quality standards, reinforcing the trust between Wozere Studio and our team. Beyond being a temporary space, the result became a benchmark in the luxury retail sector, demonstrating that aesthetic excellence can coexist with technical precision and operational efficiency.
